Dear Children of Christ,

Hope you are all safe and sound!!!

Today I would like to remind each one of you of how blessed you are.

When you are safe and snuggled in the warmth of your home, there are thousands of children who are the same age as yours, may be older or younger too who are facing a complete different life.

They wake up to sound of the blasts where we wake up to the lovely melody of the birds. They struggle to get a meal for a day where as we waste a meal of the day. They are unfortunate to have lost their family but we complain about everyone around us.

I can keep comparing things to give you examples of how bad their life is to how good yours is. As children of God, let us not only pray to Him and ask for things we need but let’s pray for those in trouble and that they will seek God. We have to learn to be content with what we have. We need to trust Him and delight in Him as we read in Psalms 37:3, 4.

"Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Take delight in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart.”

Prayer

Dear Lord, I thank you for giving me a wonderful life with all that I need. I pray for those children who are struggling around the world. Please provide them with all their needs and protect them from danger. Help them to know You and accept You as their personal saviour.
